OEM / ODM Sourcing Support

From your specification to a coordinated production project

SINAWATTS works with external production partners rather than operating a single self-owned factory. We coordinate product matching, specifications, samples, production follow-up and the documents required for each project.

Send Your RFQ

What this means for buyersYou get one commercial and technical coordination point, while the production route is selected according to the required material, process, quantity and application.

What SINAWATTS coordinates

Our role is to turn a buyer's requirement into a clear sourcing project. We review the request, compare it with available products and production capabilities, identify missing specifications and coordinate the work with a suitable partner facility. This model is useful when a project combines several component types or when the buyer needs a single contact for technical and commercial follow-up.

  • Product matching: compare an existing product, drawing, photo, sample or bill of materials with available options.
  • Specification alignment: confirm conductor, terminal, housing, plating, dimensions, ratings, color and packaging before quotation approval.
  • OEM adaptation: coordinate logo, label, cable length, color, packaging and other changes to an existing design.
  • ODM development: organize feasibility review, tooling questions, samples and approval checkpoints for a more customized product.
  • Order follow-up: track the confirmed production plan, inspection scope, packing requirements and shipment arrangement.

How the sourcing process works

  1. Define the application. Tell us where the part will be used, the electrical system, environmental exposure and destination market.
  2. Build the specification. We turn photos, drawings, samples or a BOM into a list of parameters that can be quoted and checked.
  3. Select the production route. The project is matched with a partner based on process capability, quantity and customization requirements.
  4. Confirm commercial terms. MOQ, sample cost, tooling, lead time, packaging and payment terms are confirmed for that exact project.
  5. Approve the sample. Critical dimensions, materials, fit, appearance and labeling are checked against the approved specification.
  6. Coordinate production and inspection. Bulk production follows the approved version and an agreed inspection plan.
  7. Prepare shipment documents. Packing details and requested product documents are checked before dispatch.

Products commonly handled

Typical requests include battery cables and cable assemblies, solar and battery connectors, battery terminals, fuse holders and fuse boxes, battery switches, circuit breakers and solar mounting accessories. A mixed BOM can be reviewed as one project when compatibility between parts matters.

Information that improves quotation accuracy

InformationExamplesWhy it matters
ApplicationRV, marine, off-grid solar, forklift, automotiveChanges material, sealing, voltage and installation requirements.
Electrical requirementsVoltage, continuous current, peak current, fuse ratingDetermines conductor size, contact design and protection selection.
Mechanical requirementsLength, stud size, connector key, mounting spacePrevents fit and installation problems.
EnvironmentIndoor, outdoor, UV, salt spray, temperature, vibrationGuides housing, plating, insulation and sealing choices.
Commercial requirementsTarget quantity, packaging, destination, target dateAllows a realistic MOQ, price and schedule to be quoted.
Compliance needsRequired standard, report type, destination marketDocument availability must be verified against the exact model.
No universal MOQ or lead-time promiseMOQ, tooling and delivery time vary by product and production method. A reliable quotation should state these terms for the exact approved specification rather than reuse a single number across the whole catalog.

Prepare your first inquiry

For a cable assembly, use our custom cable assembly RFQ checklist. For a broader order, send a BOM, target quantity and one reference photo or drawing per item. We will identify the missing decisions before the project moves to quotation.
