The process starts by turning the buyer's requirement into a clear sourcing package. SINAWATTS can compare the request with catalog options and candidate source information, identify missing specifications and coordinate questions with the proposed source. Any capability, facility role or deliverable remains subject to written confirmation for the project.
- Product matching: compare an existing product, drawing, photo, sample or bill of materials with current options.
- Specification alignment: document conductor, terminal, housing, plating, dimensions, ratings, color and packaging requirements before approval.
- OEM review: check whether requested logo, label, cable length, color, packaging or other changes can be quoted for the selected design.
- ODM review: coordinate feasibility, tooling, sample and approval questions when a more customized design is proposed.
- Order follow-up: when included in the quotation, follow the confirmed schedule, inspection scope, packing requirements and shipment arrangement.
How the sourcing process works
- Define the application. Tell us where the part will be used, the electrical system, environmental exposure and destination market.
- Build the specification. We turn photos, drawings, samples or a BOM into a list of parameters that can be quoted and checked.
- Review the sourcing route. Candidate sources are compared against the required process, quantity and customization scope; the proposed route is identified in the quotation.
- Confirm commercial terms. MOQ, sample cost, tooling, lead time, packaging and payment terms are confirmed for that exact project.
- Define sample approval. Agree which dimensions, materials, fit, appearance and labeling must be checked and who approves them.
- Define production and inspection follow-up. Where ordered, state the approved version, inspection scope and records in writing.
- Define shipment documents. List the packing details and product documents that must be checked before dispatch.
