No. M8 identifies a thread size, not the complete mating interface. Request the battery model, thread details, lug hole and palm dimensions, connection-stack drawing and cover clearance before comparing offers.

Can I use one tightening torque for all battery terminals?
No. Use the instructions for the exact battery and terminal assembly. Even battery models with the same thread size can require different torque. Ask the supplier to identify the applicable drawing and assembly instructions in the quotation.
